Maja Chwalińska has to withdraw from the MSC Hamburg Ladies Open due to injury.

Maja Chwalińska will be unable to participate in this year's Hamburg Ladies Open due to injury. The French Open finalist injured her ankle at Wimbledon and had hoped until the last moment to compete in the WTA 250 tournament in the Hanseatic city. However, she now has to withdraw to make a full recovery and avoid any further health risks.

„Unfortunately, despite the positive progress with my ankle and on the recommendation of my medical team, I am not yet ready to return to competition. Therefore, I must withdraw from this year's Hamburg Ladies Open.

I am very disappointed to miss the tournament, as I was really looking forward to playing on sand again and competing in front of the fans in Hamburg. These decisions are never easy for me, but my ultimate goal is to recover fully and only return to the court when I can play my best tennis again.

“I wish the tournament a great week and all the players the best of luck. Thank you to everyone for your continued support,” explains the Pole her withdrawal.
