Learn, move, marvel – the LI Zoo School at Hagenbeck in the Public Village at the MSC Hamburg Ladies Open
What does it feel like to stand on one leg like a flamingo? How far can a kangaroo jump? And who can sneak up as silently as a tiger?
Answers to these and many more questions can be found at the Public Village, at the hands-on station of the LI Zoo School at Hagenbeck.
Here, animals can be experienced with all the senses. Playful movement activities invite children and families to try out the abilities of different animals for themselves. Whether at the flamingo stand, animal yoga, kangaroo jump or tiger stealth – whether an active challenge to let off steam or quiet relaxation, each station combines movement with exciting knowledge from the animal kingdom. The offering is complemented by a varied animal quiz and other interactive activities.
This is how the LI Zoo School brings Hagenbeck Zoo right to the MSC Hamburg Ladies Open, enriching the tournament visit with a special nature and movement experience for the whole family.
So, the younger tennis fans can look forward to animal support at the MSC Hamburg Ladies Open: Hagenbeck's LI Zoo School will be with us at Rothenbaum from Thursday.
About Hagenbeck Zoo
Tierpark Hagenbeck is as much a part of Hamburg as the harbour, the Michel and the Elbphilharmonie. Animals from all continents – more than 1,400 in total – have found a home in the extensive enclosures and the magnificent park grounds. Especially during the summer months, visitors can look forward to a variety of young animals: eland antelope, impala, bison calves, rare donkey foals, blennies, baboon infants and Bentheim miniature pigs – cute baby animals can be discovered everywhere.
