Pepperstone becomes Official Online Trading Partner of the 2022 Hamburg European Open

The new ATP Tour sponsor Pepperstone, the award-winning Melbourne-based FX and CFD broker, will also be the official online trading partner of the 2022 Hamburg European Open. Pepperstone has chosen the combined event in Hamburg (July 16 – 24, 2022) as one of just eleven tournaments globally for an on-site presence. The umpire’s chairs on all three TV courts will have Pepperstone branding, and Pepperstone will open a promotion stand in the public village.

Sandra Reichel, tournament director of the Hamburg European Open, said: “We are very happy to partner with a global innovative brand like Pepperstone.  Pepperstone’s award-winning customer service is the perfect match for the Hamburg European Open, which also constantly strives to improve the tournament experience for the thousands of fans attending the event every year. The new Pepperstone ATP live rankings are a fantastic new way for the fans to follow players’ action and achievements. I am grateful that Pepperstone has chosen our new combined event in Hamburg as an attractive platform for an expanded partnership.”

Tamas Szabo, Pepperstone Group CEO, said: “We’re very excited with the opportunity that the ATP Tour sponsorship offers us, but most importantly we’re very pleased with how well the tennis audience globally aligns to Pepperstone clients. We’ve had an amazing entry into the ATP Tour partnership and are looking forward to taking it further at the Hamburg European Open not only for the Pepperstone brand but our clients too.”

Earlier this month, the ATP announced Pepperstone as its new Platinum Partner, naming partner of the Pepperstone ATP Rankings and the official Online Trading partner of the Tour. The partnership kicked off with the launch of a brand-new product — the Pepperstone ATP Live Rankings — a dynamic new feature enabling fans, players and media to track the real-time rankings and impact of match results day-to-day. The partnership was launched ahead of the 50th anniversary of the Pepperstone ATP Rankings in 2023. To view the Pepperstone ATP Live Rankings, please click here.

In addition to the Rankings, Pepperstone also becomes the naming partner of the season-long Race To Turin, Race To Milan, the ATP Cup Standings, as well as presenting partner of the official year-end No.1 ceremonies in singles and doubles.

Tickets for the 116th edition of the clay-court classic in Hamburg are available in advance via the ticket hotline 01806-991175 or the online ticket shop. On the men’s side, two-time Hamburg champion Nikoloz Basilashvili from Georgia, Danish rising star Holger Rune and Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina have announced their early commitment to the Hamburg European Open 2022. In the women’s competition of the combined event, tournament ambassador Andrea Petkovic, 2021 Hamburg champion Elena-Gabriela Ruse from Romania and top ten player Danielle Collins (USA) have already confirmed their participation. The Hamburg European Open is Germany’s largest and oldest tennis tournament, where men and women will play the same tournament week for the first time since 1978.
