Tennis for Free
Under the motto “Put down your game console – take up your racket”, the Alexander Otto Sports Foundation launched the project “Tennis for free” in 2011. It first introduced Hamburg children and adolescents to tennis and encouraged them to play more sports. Since then, many clubs in Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony have also joined.
It is now a tradition that “Tennis for free” is presented every year at Hamburg’s Rothenbaum and invites kids and teens between 6 and 16 years of age to discover their own talent with a tennis racket. You can expect a varied program at “Tennis for free” and even the tennis pros will occasionally drop by to hit a few balls with you.
The exact times of these special training sessions are announced each day in “Hawkeye”.
You can find additional information as well as the registration option for children and clubs to actively participate in “Tennis for free” here.
