Hamburg will remain firmly anchored in the international calendar of the women's professional tennis organisation WTA in 2026: The MSC Hamburg Ladies Open will be held next summer from 19 to 26 July 2026 in the tennis stadium at Hamburg's Rothenbaum. The qualifying matches of the WTA 250s tournament will begin on Sunday, 19 July, with the final taking place on Sunday, 26 July. The WTA has now confirmed this date to Tournament Director Sandra Reichel.
„We are delighted that Hamburg will once again be the meeting place for the international elite in women's tennis in 2026,“ says Tournament Director Sandra Reichel. „Our aim remains to offer fans first-class tennis, a stage for young talent, proximity to the stars and a very special atmosphere at Hamburg's Rothenbaum.“
The world's largest shipping company, MSC, will also be the title sponsor next year, as was contractually agreed before the first edition of the tournament last July. „We are proud to be working with a strong partner like MSC, who shares our vision of combining top tennis and Hanseatic hospitality. We have big plans for 2026 together,“ emphasised Reichel.
The MSC Hamburg Ladies Open 2026 once again promises a top-class field of participants, the best entertainment and world-class tennis - right in the heart of the Hanseatic city.
Advance ticket sales for the MSC Hamburg Ladies Open 2026 will start at the beginning of December.
