The MSC Hamburg Ladies Open is not only continuing its successful cooperation with Asklepios Kliniken Hamburg in 2025 - the partnership is even being significantly expanded. Asklepios Kliniken will now also be providing the medical team headed by Prof. Dr Philipp Mommsen (Head of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery, Asklepios Klinikum Harburg) for the WTA 250 Women's Tennis Tournament at Hamburg's Rothenbaum from 13 to 20 July 2025, thus acting as the official medical partner of the traditional event.
"We are proud to further expand our support for the MSC Hamburg Ladies Open. As the city's largest healthcare company, we are happy to play our part in further establishing women's tennis in Hamburg. Role models in the field of sport are particularly important in motivating people to exercise more and lead a healthy lifestyle," says Joachim Gemmel, CEO of Hamburg's Asklepios clinics.
Sandra Reichel, Tournament Director of the MSC Hamburg Ladies Open, emphasises: "The cooperation with the Asklepios clinics is of great importance to us. Their expertise in the medical field will not only benefit the players, but also the spectators and everyone else involved in the tournament. We look forward to organising a safe and successful tournament with such a competent partner at our side."
The MSC Hamburg Ladies Open, in which the German number one, Eva Lys from Hamburg, will also be competing, not only promises to be a highlight in the international women's tennis calendar, but also a tennis festival for the whole family. Thanks to the support of the Asklepios clinics, the event will also meet the highest medical standards.
